Some months ago an Option
was arranged with the Interstate
Power Company to purchase two
lots belonging to the Company
and abutting the site of the new
City Equipment Yard. The Option
was arranged because the reloca-
tion of Ninth Street Extension cut
into the Equipment Yard Prop-
erty.
The Option contemplates the
purchase of two lots for $5600,
approximately 0.86 acres and sub-
ject to certain easement reserva-
tions by the Company. The option
has been twice extended to expire
November 1, 1965.
Since the relocated Ninth street
is now under construction, it is
recommended that the lots be
purchased.
