an air pollution Ordinance.
I would like your permission to

Gentlemen:
This is to advise your Honorable
Body that the Marmora Street
Storm Sewer will be deleted from

due to difficulties encountered in
the procuring of storm sewer ease-
ments, and the creation of more
urgent storm water problems.
The 32nd Street Detention Basin
is now at the point where it must
be cleaned out. Therefore, the
$14,000.00 set aside for the Mar-

used for this work.

Mr. Frank Bertsch addressed the
Council as a representative of the
United Fund relative to their par-
ticipation in the cost of an area
welfare and Recreation survey. In
order to conduct an area welfare
and Recreation survey it would cost
approximately $12,000. By having
the City, County aud United Fund
all working together would be the
best way to carry out the survey.
The suggested amounts of participa.
tion would be for the City to give
$5,000, the County $4,000 and the
Uuited Fund a b 0 u t $3,000. The
United Fund share would cover
the cost of conducting the survey
and the furnishing of the help
