Narrative Description: StylePfear: Two-Story, Front-GableMipped-Roof House built in pre-1891. The front façade features an asymmetrical fenestration. The building appears to be two houses with a common wall. The right side is composed of a two-story,front-gable house. The left side is a two-story, hipped-roof house that is off-set from the front of the front-gable house by four feet. The lot is level. There is a public walk across the front of the lot. 8. Narrative Statement of Significance: This property and the surrounding neighborhood were evaluated as part of an In-depth Architectural and Historic Survey conducted by Jim Jacobsen of History Pays! in 2002. The property at that time was not identified as National Register Eligible. Although 10 years have passed since the in-depth survey, the property is still not National Register Eligible. In 1992, the structure was completely remodeled. The structure has vinyl siding, vinyl windows, soffit/fascia/casing have been wrapped with aluminum and the front porch and window fenestration have been modified. The property retains little architectural integrity. Historical Notes: According the City of Dubuque Water Tap Slip, Mrs. N.J Leloss owned this lot in on October 2, 1912 when the water service was provided.
