7. Narrative Description:
This cottage comes from an undetermined locatin to this parcel by 1934. No obvious nearby
(Washington Street) candidate has been found. The garage, located in the southwest corner of the
parcel, is also present by 1934. There is also a garage to the north, but likely not associated with this
residence. The core house measures 20 feet in width and 39 feet in length and there is a full-height
(1.5-story) south wing (14 feet long and four feet deep). There is a southwest corner side porch to the
west of the south wing (14 feet long, four feet wide). The hip roof front porch measures 18 feet in
width and five feet in depth. There is a finished attic. Assessor notes 40-year old garage, 16 feet by
17 feet.
