This foursquare/two-story frame cubic hip roof residence measures 24 feet in width and 26 feet in
depth. The porch is full-width and is seven feet deep. There is a rear stoop exit. There is a centered
brick chimney. Fenestration is symmetrical on the facade and south side wall. On the north wall a

are closely cut back. A large double garage/apartment of recent vintage is to the north of the house
and fronts to the north. The house fronts east onto Prince Street.

There was a single-story store on this site by 1934 and it appears to have morphed over time into a
dwelling and then a double garage. As of 1934 the store complex consisted of two buildings, the
northernmost of which was a filling station and there were four subsurface gas storage tanks. Early
Assessor record, early 1950s, shows as a tavern with owners Arthur F. and Theresa M. Herber, and
later Donna D. Richman. Vine Winters rented for tavern use. The main rectangular core measured 25
feet wide and 20 feet deep; to the south was a section that measured 15 feet wide, and 16 feet deep; a
nine foot square shed was on the north west corner of the main part, a southwest corner addition
measured 12 feet square and what was likely a porch, ran across the back of the core (18 feet long,
seven feet deep).
