Narrative Description: This is a two-story frame gable front residence (20.6x44.6, 824 square feet per level). There is a recessed porch (5.6x16) in the southeast corner. There is a single-story rear frame addition (10x18.6) in the northeast corner. The foundation is of stone. The exterior was clad in aluminum siding in 1978. There are nine rooms in the plan (three bedrooms). The facade consists of three bays with a left-hand side front entry. Fenestration is symmetrical. The north sidewall is devoid of windows alongside the stairs and other windows are regularly spaced on the upper floor, including a bathroom window, but there is just one ground floor window placed just front of center on the plan. The house retains its original 2/2 Italianate style windows. There are two ridgeline brick chimneys, one at the back of the two-story section, the other west of center on the plan. There is a concrete stoop with steps, and the gable roof entry porch has square wooden pillars and sidewalls. The entrance appears to have lost its transom. The exterior is sided with metal siding. The assessor's sketch (older record) measures the core as 20 feet in width by 44 feet in depth (792 square feet), with a front porch (8 feet wide, five feet deep), a single-story rear wing (northeast corner), 10 feet wide by 18 feet deep. A corner porch cuts into the rectangular core in the southeast corner (16 feet long, 6 feet deep) and a projecting porch, in line with the larger one, measures 6 feet in width and 3 feet in depth. There was an 18 feet by 30 feet garage and a 10 feet by 16 feet shed on the property as of the 1970s.
