7. Narrative Description:
This is a one-story frame gable front cottage with a asphalt faux brick cladding (now resided).
The plan has side dormers and apparently no sidewall fenstration. The simple rectangular plan
measures 18 feet in width by 38 feet in length (684 square feet). The front porch (removed) measured
18 feet in width and 3.6 feet deep. The 1891 Sanborn indicates that a recessed corner porch was in
the northwest corner, now apparently built in. Interior walls have arches.

8. Narrative Statement of Significance:
The Assessor dates this building to +1- 1880. This frame house was extant by 1891 (125
Rhomberg). It was numbered 517 Rhomberg by 1909 and 505 Rhomberg by 1936.
