ACCOMPLISHMENTS · Successful transition to a "paperless" agenda · Prepared over26 Council packets throughout the past year 01/29,'2001 Was brought about by the commitment of the City Council and the cooperation of a lot of people - Information Services, City Manager's Office, 3 ACCOMPLISHMENTS · Civil Service Commission 5 h · Conducted 15 Civil Service test within t, e last year · Boards and Commissions City Council Meetings · Prepared agendas, notices, proclamations~ and obtained invocators for 26 official meetings · 90 applications processed with Council making 49 appointments We have conducted 13 Civil Service tests over the last year - some having over 150 people taking the test. 4 ACCOMPLISHMENTS · Permit Tracking Software . Issuance of Beer/Liquor Licenses · Special Event Permits 5 Clerk's Office will be one of first to use the new software which enables departments to communicate more efficiently as to where a permit is at in the process which will expedite the permit process. It is anticipated that within the next fiscal year, all special event permits will be transferred from the City Manager's Office to the City Clerk's Office. FUTURE INITIATIVES · Council Agenda available to citizens via the City's website · Council records stored electronically using document imaging software · Continued performance as a service- oriented department · Ongoing computer/technical training 6 01/29/2001 Talk about puffing agenda on City's website; scanning records for archival purposes; and ongoing training
