MINUTES OF MEETING ELECTRICAL CODE BOARD
DATE: Wednesday, 26 December 2007
TIME: 4:00 P.M.
LOCATION: City Hall, Conference Rm. A
CHAIR: Jim Dixon.
PRESENT: Bob Schmidt, Paul Uhlrich, Jim Dixon, Kevin Pfohl, Elaine Reiss.
ABSENT: Ron Mueller, Dan Hamel
STAFF: Steve Neyens.
MEDIA: None
OTHERS: Chad Weinschenk, Craig Steines, Brian Reuter, Frank Kalb, Barry
Francois, Virgil Slifer, Robert Powers, Darby K. Davidson.
Jim Dixon called the meeting to order at 4:00 P.M.
Paul Uhlrich moved to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the previous meeting and to
accept them as typed. Elaine Reiss seconded. Vote was unanimous in favor of motion.
The board reviewed the test scores and applications of the following applicant:
Chad Weinschenk, Craig Steines, Brian Reuter, Frank Kalb, Barry Francois.
Bob Schmidt moved to accept all test scores and applications. Paul Uhlrich seconded.
Vote was unanimous in favor of motion.
The board than interviewed the following applicants and results are as follows:
Bob Schmidt moved to approve and issue a new license for Chad Weinschenk -Electrical
Journeyman#527, Craig Steines -Electrical Journeyman #530, Brian Reuter -Electrical
Journeyman #529, Frank Kalb -Electrical Contractor # 141, Barry Francois -Electrical
Journeyman # 528. Paul Uhlrich seconded. Vote was unanimous in favor of motion.
The board reviewed the test score, application, and interviewed Virgil Slifer.
Virgil was informed that he had not met the 8000 hours of journeyman experience that is
detailed on the front page of the application form. His request for license was tabled till he can
provide the required information.
The board reviewed the test score, application, and interviewed Darby K. Davidson.
Darby was informed that he had not met the 8000 hours of journeyman experience that is
detailed on the front page of the application form. His request for license was tabled till he can
provide the required information.
The board reviewed the test score, application, and interviewed Robert Powers.
Robert was informed that he had not met the 8000 hours of journeyman experience that is
detailed on the front page of the application form. His request for license was tabled till he can
provide the required information.

Neyens passed out the latest info on the State of
Announcements: All Future Electrical Board Meetings will be in Conference Rm. A.
The room is reserved from 4:OOpm till 6:OOpm on the following dates, Jan. 28, 2008, Mar. 24,
2008, May 27, 2008, July 28, 2008, Sept. 22, 2008, Nov. 24, 2008, Jan. 26, 2009, Mar. 23,
2009, May 26, 2009, July 27, 2009, Sept. 28, 2009, and Nov. 23, 2009.
