SUBJECT: Claim of Heath Koester
DATE: January 28, 2008
The claim and estimate is recommended to be approved as filed for $472.23.
Heath Koester submitted a claim alleging that on December 6„ 2007 at
approximately 7 A.M., City refuse truck #3409 scratched the side of his truck which was
parked in asnow-covered, tight alley between Ida Street and Aubum Street.
Mr. Koester's truck was blocking normal passage through the alley. In attempting to
pass the Koester truck, the city truck went up on a curb but slipped off scratching Mr.
Koester's truck.
The Sanitation Driver, operating the truck and at least partially responsible for the
damage, reported the accident immediately to Lead Sanitation Driver Dave Sitzmann.

than $1,000.00.
