Dear Mr. Bobick,
THE CITY OF \ ~'.~^ ' ,__._
\ ..-
~~,~~/
I received your request for a letter of support for your Wharf Replacement Project in the
Ice Harbor at the Port of Dubuque. You describe the project as:
• Provide a complete replacement of the existing wharf at the USCG SSD
Dubuque in Dubuque, IA.
• The work contemplates the demolition of the existing wharf of approximately
30,000 SF and the construction of a new wharf within the same footprint and of
the same dimensions as the existing wharf.
• The new wharf will consist of pre-cast concrete piles and reinforced concrete
deck. It will have a wood pile and whaler fender system all around its perimeter.
• Upgraded electrical, communications, potable water and sanitary sewer shore
ties will be installed in the new wharf.
The City of Dubuque appreciates your presence in Dubuque and your partnership with
the City on many projects.
Please consider this as a letter of support for your project.
Sincerely,
~~ ~`~
