SUBJECT: Raven Oaks Drive DATE: July 10, 2008 INTRODUCTION This is in response to a request from the Dubuque County Auditor for the platting of the balance of Raven Oaks Drive. DISCUSSION A portion of Raven Oaks Drive was vacated and disposed of to Kluck Partnership in 2007. Upon receipt of the approved plat of the vacated area (Lot 4A of Raven Oaks No. 2), the County Auditor requested the balance of the lots comprising Raven Oaks Drive be surveyed and platted. The attached plat of Lot 4B of Raven Oaks No. 2 prepared by Buesing & Associates complies with the County Auditor's request. RECOMMENDATION Since Raven Oaks Drive is a public street, the Owner, City of Dubuque, is required to sign the owner's consent on the plat. I would recommend that the Plat of Survey of Lot 4B of Raven Oaks No. 2 be approved as shown on the plat prepared by Buesing & Associates dated July 10, 2008. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA: Section: That the plat dated on the 10th day of July, 2008 prepared by Buesing & Associates, relative to the real estate hereinabove described be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said plat for and on behalf of the City of Dubuque, Iowa. Section 2. That the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed to file said plat and certified copy of this resolution in the office of the Recorder in and for Dubuque County, Iowa.
