Dear Denise:
We have received your email request for extending the compliance date for Central Iowa Water
Association (Vernon) #3126315 on December 20, 2016. After internal discussions within the
Water Supply Engineering and Operations sections, the Department approves your request to
extend the compliance deadline to December 31, 2017.
As a condition of the compliance deadline extension, please complete and submit the attached
operating permit applications to the Water Supply Operations (WSO). A revised permit will then
be issued to include a new compliance schedule to meet the new final compliance date of
December 31, 2017. The compliance schedule shall include the following interim compliance
dates. Please propose dates for each of the following, if applicable:
• Plans and Specs submittal date
• Fonsi clearance date
• Bid opening dates (for all contracts, if more than one)
• Notice to proceed dates
• Works in operations dates
Please advise the Department of the actual date of possession and working name for both
Central Iowa Water Association (Vernon) #3126315 and Central Iowa Water Association
(Barrington Lakes) #3126301.
