Approve Minutes of March 8, 2002
Commissioner Wertzberger moved to approve the minutes of Mamh 8, 2002 as
amended by changing the date of the Police Entry Examination to May 4, 2002.
Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously.
Request to Schedule Entrance Examination for the Position of Transit
Dispatcher/Scheduler
Commissioner Werlzberger moved to schedule an entrance examination for the position of
Transit Dispatcher/Scheduler and that the time limit for the eligibility list be established at two
years. Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously. Kluesner moved that the application
deadline be 5:00 p.m. on May 17, 2002 with the examination being conducted on Thursday,
June 6, 2002, 6:30 p.m. in the Ballroom at Five Flags. Seconded by Wertzberger, passed
unanimously.
Request of Applicant to Take Police Officer Entry Examination Upon His Return
from Active Military Duty
Personnel Manager Randy Peck explained that if the request was approved there
would be no delay in the hiring process. Commissioner Wertzberger moved to approve
the request and that the date be determined in cooperation with the Personnel Office
and Police Department. Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously.
Request of Applicant to Take Police Officer Entry Examination at a Later Date
Personnel Manager Randy Peck explained that this request was similar to the previous
one in that the applicant was scheduled for military duty. Commissioner Wertzberger
moved to approve the request and that the date be determined in cooperation with the
Personnel Office and Police Department. Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously.
being no further business, upon motion the meeting adjourned at 3:10 p.m.
