Her work involves promoting climate smart agriculture and low carbon development through assessment, module development, training, study and workshops in cacao sector. Astrid joined Swisscontact in 20015 after working as a research assistant in analysis of microbial water quality at Queensland University of Technology. She also had internships in metal industry, municipal water supply, and microbiology appliance. She received her bachelor degree in biology from Airlangga University, and master's degree in climate change adaptation from Griffith University. She is keen on supporting community particularly in rural area to develop and enhancing their adaptive capacity in combating climate change. Astrid enjoys her leisure time with reading,writing, and travelling. Areas of focus: Climate change adaptation, climate change mitigation, cacao, low carbon development, climate smart agriculture, module development,community development, public private partnership Hendri is a civil servant at agriculture office in Bukittinggi Region, Especially at fertilizer and pesticide section that persuades community and farmers to use and produce organics fertilizer and botanical pesticides. He studied agriculture at Andalas University and received dual master degree from University of Indonesia and Erasmus University ini The Netherlands. She has the interest in science and more specification, climate change. Her past experience includes producing various articles about climate extreme and attending many conferences of science communication.She would like to work on how to improve the engagement in climate change communication.
