DATE: April 25, 2017
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the 2017 Asphalt
Overlay Access Ramp Project One was awarded on April 21, 2017, to Dan Arensdorf
Construction, Inc., in the base bid amount of $29,587.20.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the 2017 Asphalt Overlay
Access Ramp Project One be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

SUBJECT: 2017 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp Project One
The 2017 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp Project One will provide for the removal,
realignment and reconstruction of corner access ramps in the area of Mount Loretta,
Loretta Court, English Lane, Esther Street, River Ridge, Oak Street, Apple Street and
Burns Street. The project will coincide with the Public Works Department Street Overlay
Program.
The following is a summary of bids received for the 2017 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp
Project One:

Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on April 21, 2017 to Dan Arensdorf Construction, Inc. of Dubuque, Iowa, in the
base bid amount of $29,587.20.
