CITY COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS
SPECIAL SESSION

Council met in special session at 6:00 p.m. on February 9, 2017 in the Historic Federal
Building.
Present: Mayor Buol; Council Members Connors, Del Toro, Jones, Lynch, Resnick,
Rios; City Manager Michael Van Milligen
Mayor Buol read the call and stated this is a special session of the City Council called
for the purpose of discussing various City Fiscal Year 2018 departmental budgets.
FISCAL YEAR 2018 DEPARTMENTAL BUDGET REVIEW
Fiscal Year 2018 City departmental budgets were presented by staff from the following
departments:
Information Services: Chris Kohlmann Information Services Manager
City Attorney's Office (Legal) — Crenna Brumwell, City Attorney;
City Manager's Office: Teri Goodmann, Assistant City Manager; Cindy Steinhauser,
Assistant City Manager; Jerelyn O'Connor, Neighborhood Development Specialist; Cori
Burbach, Sustainable Community Coordinator; Randy Gehl, Public Information Officer;
Nikki Breitsprecker, GIS Coordinator; Jenny Larson, Budget Director; Randy Peck,
Personnel Manager
City Council: Michael Van Milligen, City Manager
City Clerk's Office: Kevin Firnstahl, City Clerk
Cable TV Division: Craig Nowack, Cable TV Coordinator
The City Council had discussion with the representatives of each department following
their respective presentations.
There being no further business, the City Council adjourned at 8:37 p.m.
