SUBJECT: 2017 City Hall HVAC Upgrade Project

Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the 2017 City Hall
HVAC Upgrade Project was awarded on April 27, 2017, to Advantage Sheet Metal, Inc.,
in the base bid amount of $49,000.
Building Services Manager Todd Carr recommends that the award for the 2017 City Hall
HVAC Upgrade Project be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

SUBJECT: 2017 City Hall HVAC Upgrade Project
The 2017 City Hall HVAC upgrade project consist of replacing the main air handling unit
for the main floor of City Hall, installing a new air handling for the Economic Development
Department, and installing two new control valves for the existing 3rd floor heating system.
Additionally, all new equipment and one existing air handling unit in Conference Room B
will be tied into our HVAC control software.
The following is a summary of bids received for the 2017 City Hall HVAC Project.

Geisler Brothers Company $59,480
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on April 27th, 2017 to Advantage Sheet Metal Inc, of Dubuque, Iowa, in the base
bid amount of$49,000.
This portion of the funding will be funded as follows:
