SUBJECT: 2017 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp Project Two

Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the 2017 Asphalt
Overlay Access Ramp Project Two was awarded on May 9, 2017, to Dan Arensdorf
Construction, Inc., in the base bid amount of $80,527.02.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the 2017 Asphalt Overlay
Access Ramp Project Two be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

SUBJECT: 2017 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp Project Two
The 2017 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp Project Two will provide for the removal,
realignment and reconstruction of thirty-three (33) corner access ramps in the area of
Rhomberg, Marshall, Dock, Ann, Fengler, Farley, Schiller, Humboldt and Stafford Streets.
The project will coincide with the Public Works Department Street Overlay Program.
The following is a summary of bids received for the 2017 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp
Project Two:

Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on May 9, 2017 to Dan Arensdorf Construction, Inc. of Dubuque, Iowa, in the
base bid amount of$80,527.02.
This portion of the funding will be funded as follows:
