5 22 17 Clerk's Skeleton Notes and Meeting CallCITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA CITY COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS SPECIAL SESSION The Dubuque City Council met in special session at 5:30 p.m. on May 22, 201,7 at the Parking Area, 420 Garfie d Avenue (Garfield Avenue and Pine Street) Present: Mayor Buol; Council Members Connors, Del Toro, Jones, Lynch, Resnick, _Ries City Manager Van Milligen, -8' 1 Absent: i Mayor Buol read the call and stated this is a special session of the City Council called for the purpose of considering approval of a special event liquor license and conducting a work session/tour on the Upper Bee Branch Creek Restoration Project. CONSENT ITEMS 1. Alcohol License Application City Manager recommending approval of a request from The Grand Tap, 802 Central Avenue, for an outdoor service, special event alcohol license in conjunction with a fundraising event on, Saturday, June 3, 2017. RESOLUTION Approving applications for beer, liquor, and/or wine permits, as required by City of Dubuque Code of Ordinances Title 4 Business and License Regulations, Chapter 2 Liquor Control, Article B Liquor, Beer and Wine Licenses and Permits Suggested Disposition: Receive and File; Adopt Resolution(s) Yays Nays Buol Connors Del Toro Jones 9. Walking Tour of the Upper Bee Branch Creek Restoration Project City staff will conduct a walking tour with the City Council of the Bee Branch Creek Restoration Project. The tour will begin at the parking lot at 420 Garfield Avenue (corner of Garfield Avenue and Pine Street).
