As Mediacom's franchisor in the City of Dubuque and on behalf of your subscribers here, we want to communicate to you our dissatisfaction with this programming change. We do not believe that the great majority of your customers will find the change acceptable. We would also like to express in the strongest possible terms our objection to Mediacom's recent fee increase. It does not appear to us from the fee increase and this programming change that Mediacom is sincere in its effort to provide a "more customer friendly" service, as you suggest in your letter to the Mayor. When Mediacom was seeking approval for the purchase of this system, company executives came to Dubuque and discussed $600 million in improvements that were going to be made in Iowa, including Dubuque. Those local investments are not being made. Service People Integrity Responsibility Innovation Teamwork Ms. Lee Ann James June 7,2002 Page 2 The City of Dubuque is very dissatisfied with the performance, price, service and investment of Mediacom.
