Along with overseeing the operation of our outdoor pools, Janna is also responsible for the Division's after school programming as well as therapeutic recreation (TR). As a result, individuals with physical, visual, and mental impairments have been introduced to skiing, sitting volleyball, tennis, wheelchair basketball, Goal Ball (visual impairment), cycling, archery, and more. As of result of these efforts to bring adaptive sports to Dubuque, ARK and the many families they serve chose Janna as this 2017's Distinguished Community Services Award recipient.
