Call to Order
The Dubuque Transit Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Matt Esser, Board Chair at 4:17 pm.
Review/approve the agenda for the Thursdav June 29, 2017 Transit Advisory Board meeting
Motion by Sema, second by Enderson. The motion passed unanimously.
Review/approve the minutes from the Thursday May 11,2017 Transit Advisory Board meeting
Motion by Sema, second by Enderson to approve the minutes with edits from the May Transit Advisory Board
meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
General Public Comments and Service Requests
There were no general public comments or requests.
Managers' Report
a. Review/Approve Statistical Data, (action Item)
Johnson reported on May ridership and noted adjustments are expected after software updates to solve
data errors are implemented after the new routes take effect.
Motion by Enderson, second by Stewart to approve the Manager's report. The motion passed
unanimously.
b. Update on Jule Operations Center Timeline
Johnson reported on construction progress for the Jule Operations Center. The overall status of the
project timeline is good. A walking tour of the JOTC for the Dubuque City Council and Transit
Advisory Board is planned for August 14.
c. Delhi Transfer Update
A Public Transportation Infrastructure Program grant has been submitted for the proposed relocation of
the midtown transfer has been submitted. The board discussed naming the proposed transfer location
the Allison-Henderson Midtown Transfer.
d. Update on Route Changes
Johnson reported on route changes which will take effect August 14, 2017. Reduced fixed-route service
will be extended until 9PM Monday through Saturday during the summer and will continue Nightrider
hours on Friday and Saturday evenings until 2:40AM during the college school year. Full minibus
service will also be available during these times. These changes are possible in part through weekday
daytime and Saturday route changes. Board discussed the inclusion of locations, route colors, and
numbers in the route names. Service to fixed stops in the Key West area will be offered four times a
day on the Minibus provided that the trip appointments have been scheduled at least 24 hours in
advance.

September meeting
The September meeting will be held on September 14, 2017 at 4:15 p.m. at the Intermodal Facility, 950 Elm
Street. The July and August meetings have been tentatively cancelled.
Board Member comments
Stewart announced she will not seek another term on the Transit Advisory Board. Elections for Transit
Advisory Board for chair and vice-chair will take place at the September meeting.
Adjournment
Motion by Sema, second by Lohrmann to adjourn the Dubuque Transit Advisory Board meeting. The motion
passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 5:32 p.m.
