Maintenance Foreman Position in the Public Works Department
DATE: August 1, 2017
Personnel Manager Randy Peck is recommending City Council approval to eliminate
one Foreman position and create one Sewer Maintenance Foreman position in the
Public Works Department. The rate of pay for these classifications is the same.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

DATE: July 31, 2017
On January 19, 2016, the City Council approved creating a separate Civil Service
classification of Sewer Maintenance Foreman. The rate of pay for the classification of
Sewer Maintenance Foreman is the same as Foreman. Due to a vacancy in a Foreman
position, I am requesting that the City Council approve a motion eliminating one
Foreman position and creating one Sewer Maintenance Foreman position in the Public
Works Department.
