RESOLUTION NO. 303-17
ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION OF THE CITY ATTORNEY
Whereas, the City Council appoints the City Attorney; and
Whereas, the City Council from time to time establishes the compensation of the City
Attorney.
OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DUBUQUE, IOWA:
Section 1. The annual base salary of the City Attorney is hereby established, effective
September 1, 2017, at $165,000.
Section 2. The annual base salary of the City Attorney shall also be adjusted July 1st
of each succeeding year, by the same percentage as for all other non -bargaining unit
employees.
Section 3. The City Attorney shall be entitled to all of the benefits provided to full time
non -bargaining unit employees.
Section 4. The City Attorney shall be entitled to a car allowance equal to 75% of the
car allowance provided to the City Manager.
