Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, the 2017 Asphalt
Overlay Access Ramp Project Four was awarded on August 16, 2017, to Midwest
Concrete, Inc., in the base bid amount of $96,016.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the 2017 Asphalt Overlay
Access Ramp Project Four be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.

SUBJECT: 2017 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp Project Four
The 2017 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp Project Four will provide for the removal,
realignment and reconstruction of thirty-two (32) corner access ramps in the area of Queen,
Regent, E 24th, Edwards, Henry, Marquette, Pfotzer, Sutter, Clinton, and Windsor Streets.
The project will coincide with the Public Works Department Street Overlay Program.
The following is a summary of bids received for the 2017 Asphalt Overlay Access Ramp

Tschiggfrie Excavating, Co. $101,019.15
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on August 16, 2017 to Midwest Concrete, Inc. of Peosta, Iowa, in the base bid
amount of$96,016.00.
This portion of the funding will be funded as follows:
