Dear Dubuque City Council Members:
I am requesting to be put on the city council's agenda for the July 15th, 2002 meeting.
I have gathered information in regards to the proposed open storm drain in the area
of 24th Street to Garfield Street. I would like the opportunity to present the positive
feedback I have received from my neighbors and other homeowners directly affected
by this proposal. I have personally spoken to many of these people and feel that the
overall porition in regards to this proposal has been misconstrued. I have
documented evidence reflecting the desire of my neighbors for this proposal to be
implemented as soon as possible. I have also been in contact with the engineers in
charge of this project, Gus Psihoyos and Darren Muehring, and feel I have a strong
understanding of what is involved in implementing this project. I would appreciate the
chance to speck with you.
