Approve Minutes of May 8, 2002
Commissioner Kluesner moved to approve the minutes of May 8, 2002. Seconded by
Kluesner, passed unanimously.
Establish Passing Point and Certify List for Medical Officer
Commissioner Kluesner moved to receive and file the communication from Fire Chief
Dan Brown and that the passing point be established as 56 for the position of Medical
Officer. Seconded by Duehr, passed unanimously. Kluesner moved to certify the list
for Medical Officer as read. Seconded by Duehr, passed unanimously.

Certify List for Police Officer
Police Chief Klm Wadding recommended that those applicants with a combined score
(written/oral) of 165.5 or higher be placed on the certified list and those with a combined
score of 153.5 through 165.25 be placed on the reserve list. Kluesner moved to
approve the recommendation of the Police Chief with 33 applicants on the certified list
and 14 on the reserve list. Seconded by Duehr, passed unanimously.

Request to Schedule Promotional Examination for the Position of Corporal
Police Chief Klm Wadding requested that a promotional examination be scheduled for
the position of Corporal, that McCann Associates be used for the written portion of the
test and that the oral interview be included as part of the certification process. Kluesner
moved that the promotional examination for the position of Corporal be administered on
Thursday, July 11, 2002 at 6:30 p.m. and that application deadline be 5:00 p.m. on
June 28, 2002. Seconded by Duehr, passed unanimously.
There being no further business, upon motion the meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
