This is a claim in which the claimant states that as he was attempting to make a right turn
from Pennsylvania Avenue onto Sylvan Street, the back tire of his motorcycle bounced off
of a pothole, causing the motorcycle to slide out from underneath him, scraping his right
shoulder and forearm. Also, the brake lever of the motorcycle was broken, and the muffler
and engine covers were scratched.
This claim has been referred to Public Entity Risk Services of Iowa, the agent for the
Iowa Communities Assurance Pool.
