Mr. Mayor and the Members of the City Counsel
Recently signs have been installed next to my business (Bricktown) on 3rd street as well
as some existing signs on Main Street. These signs warn "no parking between the hours
of 1:00 am and 6:00 am" on certain days of the week. Since Bricktown dose not close
until 2:00 am I am concerned with the 1:00 am time on these signs. There are several bars
already located in this area other than Bricktown and inevitably more to come. Asking
the customer to move there vehicles by 1:00 am when the facility is still open seems
unfair and could have an negative effect on business and this area. I ask that you review
this ordinance and change this particular area (3rd and Main street) to 3:00 am.
