Dear Mayor Duggam
Because of my new job as State Director of The Nature Conservancy of Iowa, I am no longer
able to regularly attend the meetings of the Environmental Stewardship Advisory Commissiom
And because the main office of the Conservancy is in Des Moines and I am away much of the
week, I do not feel I am able to represent the residents of Dubuque in a responsible manner. I am
sorry to have served on the Commission such a short time, but I need to resign and allow another
citizen to serve.
I have appreciated the opportunity to work with such fine Commission members and I am VERY
impressed with the City of Dubuque's staffi It has been an honor to serve the City Council and
to be a part of keeping Dubuque a healthy and beautiful place to live. My family and I love
living here!
