WHEREAS, Hospice of Dubuque, a community, nonprofit organization, has been
serving the Tri-State Area for 34 years and continues to provide
exceptional care, and
WHEREAS, Hospice of Dubuque exists solely to fulfill its mission of providing
compassionate care for the terminally ill and their loved ones, and
WHEREAS, all patient care decisions are guided by this mission, and
WHEREAS, regardless of diagnosis, residence, or insurance, all those desiring
hospice services and those who meet the admission criteria will receive
the care to which they are entitled, and
WHEREAS, each day is a gift Hospice of Dubuque serves individuals and families in
the final season of life and helps them make each day the best day
possible
NOW THEREFORE, I, ROY D BUOL, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA,
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL, STAFF AND CITIZENS OF DUBUQUE, DO
HEREBY PROCLAIM THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER 2017, AS
"HOSPICE MONTH"
IN THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, AND INVITE THE DUBUQUE COMMUNITY TO
BECOME AN EXTENSION OF THESE HELPING HANDS THAT TOUCH THE LIVES
OF OUR TRI-STATE NEIGHBORS AT A MOST DIFFICULT AND VULNERABLE TIME
TOGETHER WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have
hereunto set my hand and caused the
