Dear Mayor and Council Members:
We are writing regarding a scheduled street construction project
that would extend Bonson Road. We live at 3466 Sunset Park
Circle, across the street from the proposed project.
This very costly project is to be done to a "dead end" street
that is used by one family. Many large trees would be removed to
widen the dead end street; the front of our houses faces these
trees and we would miss their beauty and calming presence.
We question the benefit to taxpayers of this project. We object
to the cost of this project, which would be assessed to all
property owners in the area and the taxpayers. There are much
better ways this money could be used for street repairs in the
city.
We ask that you cancel this project. Thank you for your
consideration.
