Review/approve the agenda for the Thursday October 12, 2017 Transit Advisory Board meeting Motion by Serna, second by Lohrmann. The motion passed unanimously. Review/approve the minutes from the Tuesday September 19, 2017 Transit Advisory Board meeting Motion by Esser, second by Lohrmann to approve the minutes from the September Transit Advisory Board meeting. The motion passed, Serna abstained. Oath of Office Esser, Board Chair, issued oath of office to Serna. Officers Election Serna nominated Esser as Transit Advisory Board Chairman and Lohrmann as Vice Chair. Esser and Lohrmann were elected unanimously. General Public Comments and Service Requests No general public comments or suggestions. Managers' Report a. Ridership Summary and Evening Service Ridership Review Eudaley-Loebach reviewed ridership statistics and reported increased ridership later in the day due to extended service hours. Comparative yearly ridership between 6pm and 9pm demonstrates the service increase has allowed passengers to stay out later. Review Previous Goals and Set Goals for FY19-FY24 Budgets a. TAB members reviewed Jule service needs and projects and discussed prioritizing the continuation of extension of service hours, developing more holistic outreach and information approaches, establishing transit partnerships with outlying communities, and facility and amenity improvements. b. Jule staff will organize discussion categories prior to the next meeting and board members will finalize goals and priorities at the November meeting. c. Serna left the meeting following this discussion and business continued with a loss of quorum with no further votes being taken. Resiliency Committee Liaison Tonics Lohrmann discussed how the Transit Advisory Board and Resiliency Committee can work together to develop holistic alternative transportation solutions to transit -related issues. Board Member comments Esser suggested initiating research to determine if the cost of Annual Youth Passes should increase. 2 Enclosure 1 November Meeting The November meeting will be held November 14, 2017 at 4:30pm at the Carnegie -Stout Public Library. The meeting will hold a joint public hearing with the Parks & Recreation committee regarding the Midtown/Allison- Henderson Transfer.
