AIRPORT COMMISSION MINUTES
Commissioner Santillo moved to approve the minutes of the September 22, 2008
Commission meeting and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Daoud. AYES: All.
NAYS: None.
OLDBUSINESS:
01. REVIEW STATISTICS
Various items were discussed.
NEW BUSINESS:
02. ELECTION OF OFFICERS
Commissioner Daoud made a motion to retain the current officers (Steve Accinelli
as Chairperson, Mike Santillo as Vice Chairperson and Charlie Daoud as
Secretary/Treasurer). Commissioner Brotherton seconded the motion.
AYES: All. NAYES: None.
03. BUDGET DISCUSSION
The FY10 Operating and Maintenance Budget that was submitted to the City
Manager and Budget Officer was discussed.

04. CORRESPONDENCE
The Commission was updated on the planned sale of David Flying
Services.
After discussion, approval was given by the Commission for the Airport
Manager to teach airport management classes at the University of Dubuque during
non-work hours.

NEXT COMMISSION MEETING:
The next scheduled Commission meeting is November 24, 2008 at 4:00 p.m.
Commissioner Daoud moved to go into closed session for the Airport Manager’s
evaluation and this motion was seconded by Commissioner Brotherton. AYES: All.
NAYS: None.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:20 p.m.
