Van Milligen, City Manager SUBJECT: Purchase of Property from Lloyd and Jane Steffen DATE: January 14, 2009 On March 4, 2008, the City entered into an agreement with Lloyd and Jane Steffen to purchase the property located at 6950 Pennsylvania Avenue. City Attorney Barry A. Lindahl is now recommending acceptance of the warranty deed to the property. I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council approval. Resolution Accepting the Deed to Certain Real Estate; 2. Warranty Deed; 3. Declaration of Value; 4. Groundwater Hazard Statement. Also attached is City of Dubuque check no. 327108 payable to the Dubuque County Recorder in the amount of $235.20 regarding the real estate transfer stamps.
