Czarnecki, David resign Environ1225 Kelly Lane Dubuque, IA 52003 19 August 2002 The Honorable Terrance M. Duggan Mayor of Dubuque City Hall 50 West 13th Street Dubuque, IA 52001 Dear Mayor Duggan: I wish to resign as a member of the Environmental Stewardship Advisory Commission. I have become painfully aware that I am currently, and for the foreseeable future, unable to devote the time to adequately be an environmental advocate as a Commissioner. The ESAC is a very important cog in the wheel of Dubuque's future - a wheel that does not need to be compromised by non-participation. Unfortunately my plate of other obligations has become too full to allow me to serve in the manner I feel is warranted by the needs of the Dubuque community. It has been an honor to serve as Commissioner. Dubuque has an excellent suite of staff and citizens who are equally interested in the environmental fate of their community. I hope that I will at some point soon be able to serve the community and actively share my expertise and time. cc: Michael Van Milligan, City Manager Mary Rose Corrigan, Health Services Michael Buelow, Chair ESAC Warm wishes for continued success, David B.
