ORDINANCE NO. 80-02
AMENDING SECTION 2-40 ORDER OF BUSINESS AND AGENDA OF THE CITY OF
DUBUQUE CODE OF ORDINANCES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DUBUQUE, IOWA:
Section 1. Sec. 2-40 of the City of Dubuque Code of Ordinances is
amended to read as follows
Sec. 2-40. Agenda and Order Of Business:
(a) Agenda: The order of business of each regular meeting shall be as
contained in the agenda prepared by the City Clerk. The agenda shall be a
listing by topic of subjects to be considered by the City Council.
(b) Order Of Business: The general rule as to the order of business in
regular meetings shall be as follows:
(1) Reading of the call.
(2) Roll call.
(3) Proclamations.
(4) Consent items; business licenses.
(5) Items to be set for public hearing.
(6) Appointments to boards and commissions.
(7) Public hearings.
(8) Action items.
(9) Public input.
(10) Adjournment.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon publication.
