Approve Minutes of July 30, 2002 Meeting
Commissioner Wertzberger moved to approve the minutes of the July 30, 2002
meeting. Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously.
Request to Add Randy Ludowitz to the Certified List for Sanitation Driver
Wertzberger moved to add Randy Ludowitz to the Certified List for Sanitation Driver.
Seconded by Kluesner, passed unanimously.
Establish Passing Point for the Position of Corporal
Wertzberger moved to approve the recommendation to establish the passing point for
the position of Corporal at 69 and to receive and file the communication from the Police
Chief requesting that the envelopes containing the names of those individuals with
passing scores not be opened. Chief Wadding explained his request stating that all the
applicants were participating in the oral interview portion of the certification process and
that he felt it was better for the interview panel to not be influenced by the written score.
It was the decision of the Commission to open the envelopes and read those names
into the record; however, they were not revealed to the Police Chief. After the
combined scores of the written examination oral interview are calculated, the top ten
individuals will be placed on the certified list.
There being no further business, upon motion the meeting adjoumed at 11:24 a.m.
