Proclamation Healthcare Quality
WHEREAS, the Iowa Association for Healthcare Quality professionals, Iowa
consumers, and all Iowa healthcare providers are concerned about
the quality of healthcare and expenses associated with it; and
WHEREAS, Healthcare Quality Improvement professionals share with other
healthcare professionals the concern of providing quality and cost
effective healthcare; and
WHEREAS, Healthcare Quality improvement professionals are involved in the
review processes used to determine the appropriateness,
accountability, safety and productivity of those facilities and
individuals providing healthcare; and
WHEREAS, Healthcare Quality Improvement professionals make a significant
contribution affecting the overall impact regarding positive
outcomes of patient care.
NOW THEREFORE, I, TERRANCE M. DUGGAN, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
