City Conference Board Meeting
August 4, 2008
In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 441.16 of the 2003 Code of Iowa, the

Dubuque City Conference Board met in the Dubuque County Supervisors Chambers, 4
Floor Court House, 720 Central Ave., Dubuque, Iowa at 4:00 p.m. The purpose of the
meeting is to ratify the Collective Bargaining agreement with the union employees.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Roy Buol at 4:00 p.m.
Roll call was taken. Those present were:
City Council: Mayor Roy Buol
Joyce Connors
Ric Jones
Kevin Lynch
School Board: Otto Krueger
David Patton
Supervisors: Eric Manternach
Donna Smith
Also present were Mr. John Ganshirt, negotiator for the Conference Board along with
City Assessor Rick Engelken and Deputy Assessor Kim Reittinger.
Mr. Ganshirt gave a presentation on the bargaining unit contract, he requested that the
Conference Board ratify the contract today.
Ms. Smith made a motion to ratify the Collective bargaining unit contract for the fiscal
year 2008 – 2009. Mr. Jones seconded the motion. All members present voted “Aye.”
Motion carried
As there was no further business, Mr. Jones made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr.
Lynch seconded the motion. All members present voted “Aye.” Motion carried.
Meeting adjourned at 4:02 p.m.
