Box 342 Dyersv/lle, IA 52040-0342 Telephone: 563 875-9733 October 10, 2002 Michael Van Milligen ,C, ity Manager, City of Dubuque City Hall 50 West 13th Street Dubuque, IA 52001 Re: Brian Feldman TJS:lll c: Brian Feldman Dear Mr. Van Milligen: I have been contacted by Brian Feldman regarding a potential issue related to some property that Mr. Feldman owns. Brian Feldman owns the mobile home park at the end of Tower Hills Drive in Keywest. Mr. Feldman has recently been contacted by Ed Tschiggfrie, requesting that he relinquish his , private drive to the City so that it can be made a public and through street into Mr. Tschiggfi-ie s property. Mr. Feldman has declined this request, as he believes, it will be extremely detrimental to his tenants. One of the major sellingpoints of Mr. Feldman s mobile home park is its seclusion and privacy. Obviously, turning a private drive into a public street into a newly developed area will dramatically increase the volume of traffic and adversely affect his tenants. As a result, Mr. Feldman is convinced that he will certainly lose tenants should this occur. The purpose of this letter is to provide notice to you of Mr. Feldman's position should this issue ever come before the City. Additionally, we would appreciate being notified if this issue is ever placed on the agenda to appear before the City Council. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Sincerely, Day & Hellmer, P.C. By: Thomas J. Straka
