• 96 Volunteers helped beautify the
Dubuque Arboretum by providing over
12,900 hours of service to the Arboretum.
• 22 Volunteers operated the Washington
Tool Library. 1,265 rental contracts
were made in 2008 allowing low income
individuals access to tools needed to
make improvements to their home.
• 65 Mobile Meals Volunteers delivered
43,227 hot meals to individuals in
Dubuque County.
• 90 volunteers provided assistance in a
variety of ways to two local hospitals.
• 49 volunteers made 1,601 visits to
nursing home residents in Dubuque
County.
• 8 volunteers assisted in the collection
of 7,375 units of blood.
• 11 Resident Advocate volunteers made
911 visits to nursing home or long-term
care residents in 2008.
• 247 Small claims cases were mediated
by 9 volunteers.

volunteer opportunities, and we will support
