Proclamation Hospice Month
WHEREAS, Hospice of Dubuque fulfills the medical and nursing
needs of the terminally ill patients; and
WHEREAS, Hospice fulfills the psychological, social and spiritual
needs of patients and their families; and
WHEREAS, Hospice provides the quality care that allows people to
live well at the end of life; and
WHEREAS, Hospice of Dubuque provides compassionate care for the
terminally ill and their loved ones in the Tri-state area.
NOW THEREFORE, I, TERRANCE M. DUGGAN, MAYOR OF THE CITY
OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM NOVEMBER, 2002 AS
“HOSPICE MONTH”
IN THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA AND ACTIVELY ENCOURAGE THE
SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATION OF FRIENDS, NEIGHBORS,
COLLEAGUES, AND FELLOW CITIZENS IN ASSOCIATED HOSPICE
ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS NOW AND THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have
hereunto set my hand and caused the
Great Seal of the City of Dubuque,
Iowa to be affixed this 4th day of
