Re: Action to approve FY2010 operating budget for the Assisted Housing Program
Approval of the Fiscal Year 2010 operating budget for the Assisted Housing Programs
of the Housing and Community Development Department is an actio required of the
"housing authority governing board." This board was created by action of the City
Council at its 21 January 02 meeting, by passage of ordinance no. 5-02. Specifically,
the action must approve the Fund 280 operating budget allocation for FY2010.
Attached is the resolution for City Council action.

APPROVING THE FISCAL YEAR 2010 OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE
ASSISTED HOUSING PROGRAIVIS OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
Whereas, the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has
required that a governing board be constituted for purposes of approving certain actions
of the municipal housing agency; and
Whereas, the City Council has duly constifzited the governing board of the
municipal housing agency of the City of Dubuque by passage of Ordinance No. 5-02; and
Whereas, passage of the operating budget for the Assisted Housing Programs of the
Housing and Community Development Department is an ac#ion required of the governing
board; and
Whereas, the governing board has determined that approval of the operating budget
is in the best interests of the City of Dubuque.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA:
The operating budget for the Assisted Housing Programs of the Housing and
Community Development Department for Fiscal Year 2010 is hereby approved.
