Dear Barry:
This letter will respond to the claim filed by Tammi Herbst.
On October 8, 2002, a staff member of the Parking Division was repainting the
top of the stairwell in the Locust Street Ramp when he noticed some paint on two
vehicles. The employee was painting with a roller and being it was a bit windy
that day, some of the paint blew onto the cars causing speckles of paint on the
finish.
It is my opinion that the damage claim filed by Tammi Herbst is consistent with
the employee's side of the story and also with the damage I observed the day
this happened. It is therefore my recommendation to pay the claim as filed.
If you need any additional information concerning this claim, please contact me
at your convenience.
Sincere!y, ·
Tim Horsfield
