Carnegies Stout Public Library Auditorium, 11t~ & Bluff Streets, Dubuque, Iowa Enderson, Sand, Stedman Bemis, Lightcap Munson-Booth/KeyLine APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF MARCH 14, 2002, BOARD MEETING PUBLIC HEARING FOR FY 2003 CONSOLIDATED GRANT APPLICATION MANAGER'S REPORT Enderson called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m., calling for a motion to approve the minutes of the March 14, 2002, board meeting as circulated. Sand so moved. Stedrnan seconded. Motion carried. Enderson opened the Public Heating for the FY 2003 Consolidated G-rant Application. Munson read the public hearing notice listing the projects and monies requested. After hearing no comments, Enderson closed the public heating. Munson reported that there were two Nova buses here and that the rest should come next week. They are a dark gray with sunburst yellow to red logos. The first bus that arrived was displayed at City Expo on April 16 and 17 and shown to the City Council on April 15. Many favorable comments were received. Munson further reported that he wants to get the remaining buses in the fleet painted gray, so the fleet will all match. The City will be issuing an RFP soon for an alternative analysis transportation study, previously called a light rail feasibility study. The study will consider alternatives for the influx of tourists expected when the River Project is complete. The study will take a year to complete and the approval of the alternative selected should go to the City Council for their approval in September of 2003.
