Pursuant to the requirements of Subsection 368.7 and 368.20 Iowa Code, the City Development
Board hereby files with you the documents necessary to complete the annexation for the City of Dubuque's
boundary change (Resolution Number 394-08). Enclosed please find copies of the following documents to
be officially recorded.
(1) The Petition of Dubuque and all amendments thereto;
(2) The Ruling of the City Development Board; and

Dear Ms. Flynn Thurlow:
Pursuant to Sections 368.7 and 368.20 Iowa Code, the City Development Board is required to file
with the recorder of each county which contains a portion of any city or territory involved in a municipal
boundary change, copies of the map and city resolution approving such boundary change, and any other
material deemed by the Board to be of primary importance to the boundary change proceedings.
Enclosed are the original documents of the City Development Board action to be officially recorded
to complete the annexation to the City of Dubuque, Iowa. The enclosed documents should be recorded as
one instrument. Some of the documents included in this instrument may be copies of action taken by the City
of Dubuque.
Please see Resolution Number 394-08 regarding the transition of city taxes to the annexed land.
If you could please record this document on March 23, 2009, it would be greatly appreciated.
