Present: Chairperson Otto Krueger; Commissioner Dan White
Absent: Commissioner Jim Schilling
Approve Minutes from December 23, 2008: Motion by White to approve the minutes of
January 9, 2009 with the change that the Laboratory Technician examination will be
conducted on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 rather than as a "take home" test as originally
approved. Seconded by Krueger. Motion passed 2-0.
Approve Passing Point and Certify List for the Position of Inspector II: Motion by White
to receive and file the documents and to establish the passing point for the position of
Inspector II at 61.5%. Seconded by Krueger. Motion carried 2-0. Motion by White to certify
the list as read. Seconded by Krueger. Motion carried 2-0.
Approve Passing Point and Certify List for the Position of Maintenanceworker: Motion
by White to receive and file the documents and to establish the passing point for the position
of Maintenanceworker at 68.5%. Seconded by Krueger. Motion carried 2-0. Motion by White
to certify the list as read. Seconded by Krueger. Motion carried 2-0.
Request to Schedule Entrance Examination for the Position of Sanitation Driver: Motion
by White to receive and file the documents and to schedule an entrance examination for the
position of Sanitation Driver, that the application deadline be 5:00 p.m., February 19, 2009
with the test being conducted at 6:30 p.m. on February 25, 2009 at a place to be determined.
It was further moved that the examination would be open to all current City employees and the
general public. Seconded by Krueger. Motion carried 2-0.
There being no further business, upon motion meeting adjourned at 8:08 a.m.
