RE: Confirmation of Downtown Planning Committee Membership
Dear Mayor and City Council Members:
The City of Dubuque Long Range Planning Advisory Commission has reviewed the
above-cited request.
Discussion
The Downtown Planning Committee has requested confirmation for adding two new
members, a representative from Dubuque Initiatives and a representative from Dubuque
Cultural Alliance.
The Long Range Planning Advisory Commission discussed the request, noting that the
representation of these two groups on the Downtown Planning Committee was
appropriate.
Recommendation
By a vote of 7 to 0, the Long Range Planning Advisory Commission recommends that
the City Council approve the request.
A simple majority vote is needed for the City Council to approve the request.
